heh, I was bored...

LOL.... it looks retro, because of the gaming graphics on the box, which is blocky itself
-
If we ever get to see Morgengrauen's finished game, I bet that would have some better screenshots that could be used on a box. I like the idea of the sky fading into stars... I wonder what other cool elements could be shown in the same screenshot.
-
i don't think i will use the screenshots on the box. well, maybe, but not for the front of the box. i painted it all in original size, so it wil look pixely (is that the right word?).
on my time table is a point reading: paint a title screen big enough for prints, bi*ch!

was bored again lol...
if i ever get another full game done I might make a proper box for it, with the logo and not just a screenshot on the front, some sorta higher quality image of the main character or something with all fancy effects. 8)

Don't put too much effort into it -- I don't see SGDK2 being delivered in a box in the foreseeable future.
-
its only textures put onto a box shape with some reflection effect, all the shadow and stuff is generated automatically when it renders. :)
a few of us are on at the same time lol, that doesn't happen often. ;D
-
yeah. every day i have to wait until three o'clock (my time), untill someone of you gets out of bed to answer my questions.... 8)
-
That is so hilariously amazing, that I would pay for the box alone.
i have to wait until three o'clock (my time), untill someone of you gets out of bed to answer my questions....
Since most of you all live in MN, a country bumpkin Georgian :( like me isn't really on at the same time as you... I've gotta wait formy answered questions till after school. :educated:
-
If you're talking about the state of Georgia, you're only one hour off from MN. If you're talking about the country, that's a different story (about 10 hours off), but 1 hour isn't much compared to Morgengrauen's ... 7 hours?
-
im probably a fair way off too, GMT+10. (with daylight savings)
Other hemisphere lol :P
-
Um, do you guys live in Zimbabwe or Timbuctu?
(lol)
-
germany, what is probably the same to you. ;-)
ah, and it's six hours difference. actually i tend to look and guess when you start the day and when you turn on your computer. is that somehow... crazy? :alien:
-
I kind of turn on my computer at 7am and leave at 8:20 eastern. I log back on usually at 7 or 8pm... Then I leave for bed at 10pm. (Traditional chronological daily rut) :(
.
Hey, bluemonkmn, do you log on at only 10 pm eastern?
It'd be cool if we were on at the same time- so I could get my questions answered
before I go to bed, or on a date, or..... :canadian:
Well, you get it.
-
I usually turn my computer on around 6:00 am Central / 7:00 am Eastern in the morning, but my evening schedule is a little less predictable. I sometimes turn in on right when I get home around 5:30 Central / 6:30 eastern for a couple hours, or sometimes later, maybe 9:00 Central 10:00 Eastern (when the good TV shows are usually over). Sometimes both. I guess it depends on the TV schedule somewhat.
-
WHOA! And you find time to program and develop? If I had to program and develop every day...well, I'd be stuck in my office...So do you spend a lot of time on the Open GL/Open AL and Open TK conversions and the website/forums a day?
-
Lately it seems like I only get about an hour a day to spend on the OpenTK/OpenGL converstion work. If I have a weekend where I don't have other plans, though, sometimes I'll get a few hours on Saturday or Sunday or both.
-
You gotta free yourself. All of us on this site definetaly can't wait for the conversion.
