have you ever thought about advertising SGDK2 in the magazine Games for Windows (formerly Computer Gaming World)

The problem there is the word "Advertising" which involves "spending money".  SGDK2 is a free project wherein no money is involved in any aspect of its development or distribution (thus far).  In any case, if advertising were to happen, it might be a good idea to wait until it's cleaned up, works with OpenGL, has a snappy UI, and things like this.
