Apparently too many bots were registering for the forums, even with the captcha verification included with Simple Machines Forums (3 or so people were registering every day without sending me any email to confirm that they were not a spammer, so I was manually rejecting a lot of registrations). So I finally went to the work of installing an upgrade/patch that provides more complex visual challenges. Hopefully this will reduce the problems from bots registering. If anybody has any problems registering, email me.
