I'd like to share a clip of a new robot-themed side-scroller I downloaded today:

Yikes, this seems pretty basic. But the clip is short, so I guess I don't get a good idea of the game...

I'll let BlueMonk take this one, if he has a chance to watch it...

Hey! I made that game about 20 years ago! How did you get a video clip of it? Do you have an Amiga emulator that works? Actually I think *I* have an Amiga emulator that works, but where did you find the game itself? Good to see the things that live on. Someone has already linked to that clip from here:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=723212 (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=723212)
Those who are *really* paying attention might have noticed this was my first scrolling game (as mentioned in my bio): http://sgdk2.sourceforge.net/author.shtml (http://sgdk2.sourceforge.net/author.shtml)
But even I don't pay that much attention :) (I can't even figure out exactly when I released it... was it 20 years ago?)

OH!!! I thought there was something fishy about this. :) I had already read bluemonkmn's bio but such a long time ago that I didn't remember. :) I guess it's nice to see your project live on after such a long time. :)
Nice job finding that durnurd! and congratz bluemonkmn!

I've tried off and on to find the game, but only recently was I able to actually find a link to a ROM of it. Is that OK? I do own the original, somewhere. And by the original, I mean, like, the original original :)
-
Heheh... yes, it's OK; I won't sue you for copyright infringement :)

Hey... Completely out of topic, I just realized that I was promoted to expert! :educated:
I'm a little surprised and curious, why now?
Thanks a lot for the promotion! ;D

Yes, actually I just did it after your last post. I can't imagine anybody but an expert completing a game like the one you are about to release. If you weren't an expert before, you are now after working so much with SGDK2 to create this game. I think there are many eagerly anticipating your game. (I just happened to notice your ranking as I was reading your posts and durnurd's posts.)

Wow! Thanks bluemonkmn! :)
