It's a manual screen saver: when you're bored or when you walk away from your computer, you right-click on the GDP and select play -- no pesky popping up when you least expect it ;).  Of course it would probably be quite possible to make a screen saver that runs a GDP project.  Just make a VB6 exe that references GameDev and loads the GDP and executes the "Play" method (very simple).  Then rename the EXE to SCR and you've got a screen saver.

Aw man! Genius!

Maybe Ben should start marketing it as a screensaver dev kit too.  ;)

But then you have to script it to exit on mouse movement...

And a seperate executable to run it would be required, as stated above.  But that wouldn't be to hard....would it?

that would be redicuously cool to see on my monitor, maybe ill record myself playing the game (with that script thing i was gonna do for the demo) and then have it play through the whole game and loop at the end. but i'd need to finish the game to do that...

im working on it, im working on it! :)

You seem to be the only one of this opinion.  As for me, I think any project made with GameDev is a GameDev project.  Seems that way, anyway.
