Title: 64 Bit Processors are really fast!
Post by: durnurd on 2005-05-07, 10:55:30 AM
I just bought me a new computer.  64-bit processor.  Dang, it's really fast! :D Now I'll finally be able to play all those SGDK games that never worked on my slow computer. :)

I wonder how many sprites you can have active on that before it slows down.

Seeing as how the original Pacman was an arcade game not made for personal computers, no.  A port of the game with an emulator...yes.  Yes I can. ;)

Wow! 64-bit processor! SGDK games must be dancing all over the screen. Do you have a monster graphics card to match it?

Not as such.  Just a built in graphics card that couldn't run pong for now.  But I hope to get a really good one some time.  Unfortunately, I couldn't take the card from my old computer as it's AGP and my new computer requires a PCI-E.
