Okay, here's the deal: I go to the multimedia manager and the "assign media" tab. I want to set it up so that whenever the function "swapto[color]" is activated, a little sound effect will play depending on the color. I've got six different functions set up for six colors. I want to set each one up from the multimedia manager. I go over and choose my first map, I click on the first special function I want to set up (swaptored), and then go over to "play clip." I would then normally scroll down to the appropriate red-sounding clip and continue on my merry way, but "play clip" will not cooperate! I can't select it! The only option that is selectable is "change music." Any suggestions?
I've tried to make this understandable, but I can see how it would make sense to me and no one else. If you guys need clarification, let me know. I'd just really like to have this done by Friday.

What happens when you click the "Play Clip" option? Anything? Have you tried restarting the program or your computer? What version of SGDK do you have? Is there background music selected for that map?

- When I click the "play clip" option, the bubble/circle turns gray. When I release the mouse button, it goes back to white, but the black dot representing the selected option remains next to "no media."
- I've tried restarting the program and my computer.
- Version 1.4.6
- Yes, there is background music selected for that map (Setting it to no music doesn't help).

Are you sure the map name and function name are selected when you click "Play Clip"? The only way I can get that to happen is if I switch tabs after selecting the map and function name, and delete a media clip, and then when I come back, the map and function aren't selected any more and it will behave like that. You must really be going out of your way to cause this problem to happen ;).
The other way I can get it to happen is if I delete all my media clips.

Well, it's no big deal. I can work around it by making a second tile interaction for each color. One for the function and one to make the sound.
