Title: Final Fantasy 12

A reminder, just so everybody can buy their copy right now.  Because Final Fantasy 12 comes out today which means I expect you all to have beaten it by November 7th.

Since the last good Final Fantasy came out almost five years ago.

actually i might get it.  is it on PC?  Last FF i beat was 6 (3 US)

Not counting Crystal Chronicles, III was the last one I played a lot. Maybe I'll get to play XII, but only if one of my friends gets it, beats it, and gives me the year I'll need to beat it. Other than that, I'll be limited to pretty screen shots.

Must...buy...FFXII. To tell the truth though, I'm not much of a FF fan, the only one I played through and finished was VII. Anyways, I'll probably get it once I finish Dark Messiah - Might & Magic.

Well, I bought FFXII, but I've only had about 4 hours to play it the last week. It's pretty amazing though.

It's been a long time since I've played a game.  I'd be excited to play the games I already have from a couple years ago (and haven't had a chance to open yet) let alone a new game.  So I'm really itching to get at some of the must-have games out there ... Kingdom Hearts II, Shadow of the Colossus, and of course Final Fantasy XII.  For once I have plenty to put on my holiday wish list!  My Amazon.com wishlist is getting rather long. :)

SGDK2 is a brutal master ;)  (Of course, so is TV, but at least TV rations my time by having a limited number of shows worth watching -- I've eschewed cable TV to avoid the temptation.)

Shadow of the Colossus is a definate must! I played that over this semester, and it's fantastic. I mean, wow.

KHII was a bit too minigame-ful; it never seemed to let you do the same thing enough times to get used to it before changing it up.

I guess you do need a break every now and then... ;)
