Title: I just made a SGDK2 toolbar for IE and Firefox
Post by: Jam0864 on 2007-08-26, 12:36:20 AM
I just made a SGDK2 toolbar compatible with IE and Firefox.  :D
Main Features:
1. Search engine powered by google
2. Quick links to various pages related to SGDK2
3. A news ticker to display...well news... like new releases and stuff.
4. A email notifier-tells you when you have new mail, instead of you having to check all the time. (complatible with GMail, yahoo, hotmail and POP3)
5. A weather notifier, which you can switch to your area and it tells you...the weather. lol
6. A chat-room, click the button, put in a name and click ok...a very simple chat program.
7. Message sender, send messages to EVERYONE with the toolbar.

Where does it get the news from (or how does it get it?)  I should understand that so I remember to keep that news source up to date.  Sometimes I forget to, like, post a news item on SourceForge after posting the new article on the homepage.

My first guess would have been one of these:
http://sourceforge.net/export/rss2_project.php?group_id=152001

But it turns out that those don't have news items in the "News" section, so that doesn't appear to be it.

lol I just copy and paste it from the SGDK2 page.  ;)  It doesnt take it from a source by itself unfortunately.

I ought to start using the news items on the SourceForge project to announce things.
