it is similar to SingStar, but with the difference that it's gratis and for the computer. and everyone can "make" his/her own song and add it to the program.
you just need a midi of the song, with a own track for the vocals. i haven't tried it out yet, but it sounds very interesting. every one can make a song which he/she likes very much, and spread the karaoke file through the net. you need to have your own mp3 of the song, though.
and if you don't want to make your own songs, you can download the text files for other songs and only use the program for your own karaoke show. it is pretty much fun ;D
