With this release, I have also updated the web version of the online documentation (http://sgdk2.sourceforge.net/Documentation/Index.html). You can skip directly to the What's New page (http://sgdk2.sourceforge.net/Documentation/html/344ca14d-b435-4a1f-b94d-6640f99096ce.htm) if you're just looking for information about what has changed since 2.1.5.

FIRST TO DOWNLOAD!!!
(I had to do that :) )
I'll test this on my Windows 7 later tonight once I get back from my 3 hour tour trip.

Too bad my laptop is still busted. :(
I really want to, attempt, to make a good SGDK2 game.
I think I've gotten a bit more experience with C#! ;D

The last item in the "What's new from 1.x" is still:
No Tile Matching or Maze Generator Yet: In the interest of getting SGDK2 into the hands of users as soon as possible, some of the less critical features are left to a later release.
Any thoughts on if either of those will be implemented? It seems like Tile Matching might be particularly useful for drawing lots of stuff quickly.

Hm... good thought. If nobody else knows of anything more pressing, I suppose it's time I move on to that.

I'm having problems with version 2.1.6.
I installed the new version but when I run it, it crashes before it even shows the splash screen. In my event viewer, I get this error:

By the way, I tried it in a hurry this morning before leaving for work. So I installed .NET fw 4.0 but didn't reboot before launching SGDK2.1.6. Hopefully, rebooting will solve the problem. I'll keep you informed.

Sorry, I just noticed that SGDK2IDE.exe only worked when running inside the debugger! I have fixed it and uploaded a corrected 2.1.6 zip file. If you download again, it should work.

Allright, the new version works fine!
Thanks bluemonkmn! :)
