Yeah thats exactly right Bluemonkmn. I think of it as reading an interactive book. I like how u gave *hints of where that V-Card might be "On the Beach."

Instead of that, simply make the character shoot the boomerang using GameDev Script. Make the Sprites defenition "Move towards Player Sprite" and set its speed at 10, and like 70 Inertia. Also have a Collision of where the Boomerange contacts with Player Sprite(Delete)

This way the Boomerange will be shot out for a distance, and like a tracking missile come right back and delete itself.

You could set a max instance of 1 so he wouldn't have multiple boomerangs.

Actually 8 directions is better for an enemy bullet. Once the bullet is created(IF 360) it will have to turn towards the player sprite before it can start moving towards it. with 8 directions the sprite can instantly flip around and start moving. You were talking about the bullet having bad accuracy? just change the Inertia to zero. This will create 100% accuracy(which is not always wanted though) 360 bullets are alot slower when it comes to turning. :P

i have a hard time designing. I tend to focus so much on graphics that i miss the whole plot of the game. The basic idea of it is to make sure the game flows smoothly and that everything is explained well.

You have to assume that the player knows nothing about the characters or items-but learns everything as he or she goes along.

Example:ppl won't know what a V-Card(Verification Card) is unless i explain somewhere in the game. (It opens doors)

 ???Has anyone else been waiting for them to make a game based on the original starwars trillogy? I got hella pissed when i found out they made the original trillogy into a starwars "lego" gender. >:( So now im on a mission to create a game that will give justice to the most awsome trillogy-(as it deserves). STARWARS:A New Hope will let the player re-inact moments from the movie-such as luke, Han, Obi-Wan, and Leia escaping from the dreaded Death Star.(I've mostly got this level finished)Description:You play Han Solo in this mission to try and rescue the princess from imprisonment. Your accompanied by Chewbacca who protects and attacks. I've tried to make 3-D characters-so it might be hard to control them using the Rotating Keys-but will add for more skill and precision. I've used real character images for the Dialogue scenes,and also used my microphone to record actual sound effects and music right from the movies!(How authentic can u get?) :'( Note: graphics are outstanding considering i used 320X240(which is better for less memory and quicker Gameplay)
