Speaking of which, is there any way to get back to the sf site from this forum?

Durnurd, I thought I was the only one that noticed that.  :)

The good thing is that it is not as important compared to the other things you had to update.

Instead of clicking the icon, like the map editor and tileset editor, you click the background of it. Best to click the space between the "Run Game" and "Tilesets".

A window will then pop up. You can rearrange the icons or remove them or add a seperator.

However, I think it will reset once you close out SGDK.

Number One:

Never realized you could have customized your toolbar in SGDK.

With a bit more experience, and a busted laptop, I decided to use SGDK for prototyping my games.

Seems you can make some advanced games if you think things in smaller steps. I can't explain what I mean by this, but maybe when I actually do something I never thought I can do, then I can explain.

Hopefully I will be able to play it. :)
If not, then it's because of my hardware.  :(

But I joined your site, so I'll be more in tuned with this game.  ;D

Help, Errors, FAQ / Re: How to do a replica of this in SGDK2?

Hi guys! :)

Still working on my game.  I'm designing the final boss of the game: it is supposed to be a gigantic octopus so with tentacles moving around, etc.  It is a difficult task to reproduce a natural tentacle movement.  So I looked at similar games to see if something that looks like moving tentacle was already done.  Here's what I found:

Love that game!  ;D

I didn't know you could do that. Can it download images from other sites that you designate it to?

It's really simple with .NET.  It has objects/commands to interact with the internet very easily.  You could load the code into C# Express and see exactly how it works.  It's pretty short.  Of course it has to manually parse the HTML of the pages it gets to find the relevant images.  But it's still pretty simple.

I like that! It gives me an idea.
