it's not working the way i expected. what i am trying though is using a single save file, but three inventory items (game1, game2, game3) to determine which map to go to. i'll send a copy of the project soon on here.

From what i'm hearing it's sound great. only problem is though is my computer is outdated and my graphics dirver doesn't support SGDK2. so any games that are from there won't work on my computer. :'(

what i've been using recently was trueSpace3.2. It's an old, free program, but it works pretty good. Rendering also goes quickly and shadows are very acurate.

I'm not sure where i got it, try google. you will need to register some where to get it. the worst it will do to you though is you will get annoying e-mails to buy their future versions for $500+ :o! but that's why they invented SPAM BLOCKERS. but hey, it's worth it for me.

here's a suggestion for the next SGDK2 alpha. i think there should be a way to import SGDK1 files to SGDK2. right now i am using the SGDK2 alpha6 (the map editor doesn't work though because my graphics card doesn't support multiple alpha levels for transparency >:(.) and i think it's a good program. i am still confused about what the differences between framesets and tilesets are. ???

for me, it would be any game that has the name "mario" in it. the best of all of them is Yoshi's island (SMA3) and Mario and Luigi Superstar saga. best of all is the original Super Mario Bros.

What i just do is create a new map with one path and a player sprite. then i create new maps and save then all blank. then i open the project folder and delete the newly made maps and copy the first map renaming them matching the ones i just deleted. then i reopen gamedev and all the maps, sprites, and definitions are copied.
