I still can't get to the layer editor without it crashing, I have the lastest dx with managed code portion installed as well. I don't have service pack 2 for xp, perhaps that is the problem?

Off-Topic / Come into the light!

Oops, that last post was from me. I forgot to log in =]

Note: Making a complete game is hard. Making that a good game is even harder. This kit makes it possible for 1 person to still make a game in a world where huge teams are now the norm, but that person still has to be very dedicated. There are people that can do it all but they are few and I am not among them. The kit has let me dabble in game making but I may just not have what it takes! =] I enjoy it though so no plans on giving up any time soon.

Help/FAQ / level reset problem
« on: 2005-05-07, 04:54:04 PM »
The link isn't working for me.

I remember running into a similar situation on a map where I had bridge that colapsed as you walked across. I don't remember if I fixed it with the save/load game or a on death/reset a special fuction series that copied back the original tiles to that location when reseting the level. I imagine either one should work but it im not 100%on that.

General Discussion / anyone else notice...

Thats pretty common place between the various forum packages. There is always that profile button though.

17 minutes? damn. My largest demo, I can speed through in under two minutes from title screen to the end of level 1 (where it stops working).

How recent are the screenshots on your website for Runsetter 1.5?

Off-Topic / EZBoard
« on: 2005-03-21, 11:00:26 AM »
I moved my gaming clan's forum off ezboard back in 2001 or so when they started adding all the ads and popups. Used snitz for a while (ASP forums), invasion for a bit, and now phpbb for the last 6-8 months. I liked running snitz the best but they were slow to patch exploits. If I ever switched again, I'd buy vbulletin.

Hopefully the php issues on the server won't crop up again (My clan forum's broke too)! Most everything else we run is either asp (old stuff) or aspx.

Oh, just in case someone is curious the game I have a clan for is called ARC www.arc-hq.net. Overhead view 2d team game, mostly 'capture the flag' maps. The net code is old and quirky, but its still fun =] As I recall it was a school project from the person/people that now do the PopCap stuff.

I went ahead and made a SGDK logo for the zerospace template. If you want to use it its at:
