Here's my FINAL Codename  for sgdk1, so get it while its still here (practically, its unlimited supplies) all other Codenames i made are either going to SGDK2 or cancelling.

its in 7zip, so you need that first. ill make a zip version soon

for those who dont know, IDK means "I dont know!"

to play, use the arrowkeys to move around (you wont levitate in the final version) to launch youself in a rocket, press Ctrl.(there is a slight problem with it) to return to normal self, press shift. hold Enter, Shift, Ctrl and Space to see the intro again (made using TrueSpace3)

the only problem about launching the rocket is that it doesnt revert back to the normal sprite when it hits the solid (see script)

i like the music for this too (came from vgmusic.com) unfortunately, im going to try to make my own music for it.

I fixed the Rocket problem (its not posted yet) only problem is now if you hit a solid i want the health to go slightly down, how would i do that?

havent used original SGDK in ages, so I can't remember if this is right.

Make a tile interaction so when player touches that solid group they lose <a lil bit =p> of inventory item <health>

then it ends up that the player loses health as it takes a step too

i just found out you can make self extracting 7z files, so ill post that instead (when Box starts working again for me...)

i think thats only possible in sgdk2...unless you use scripting. im not too "savy" with Visual Basic

i just found out that you can compile self executables for 7 zip :-[, so (when i update it) ill post that version

i finally got the first level (99.9%) done! i need suggestions for a boss, anybody have ideas? ??? chatter away!  :canadian:

yes

i found out why the files wouldn't work, the disk i use to transfer my files from my computer to the internet had bad sectors on it. i had to reformat it and scandisk it to make it work again. as im speaking, its copying the files (SLOW COMPUTER :'() and ill get it (finally) ready soon!
edit: FINALLY! :):):):) i got it. the file is in 7zip executable, so you dont need 7zip for this file

UPDATE!!!!

you can now enter level2 and use the rocket boots (slightly... :whistle:) The next level is the boss (still looking for ideas) to use the rocket boots (on the next release) Hold Ctrl while pressing up.

oh yeah! the game is now in widescreen! (technically 1024x768 letter box)

what else to tell... did you find the RedArrowItem yet? ??? if not, what you need to do is on the second to last front light where the GreenArrow is flying, go to the right side of it and on a small platform STOP THERE! jump up then left (let go of the up button) and use rocket to go behind the light (if you can, kill the greenarrow) quickly, after going behind the light, press shift and right away press left then Ctrl to launch another rocket to get back on the left platform. there you should see the first RedArrowItem. Remember, to Complete the game you MUST have all 15+ RedArrowItems. Keep that secret  :-X

* Resolution changed to 800x600, still widescreen
* Fixed Acid Glitch
* Fixed enter Level 2 glitch
* Fixed door glitch in Level 2
* Changed max framerate to 60 instead of 40 (tell me what's better)
* Added basic story line (readme)
* Added Boss 1
* Added Smoke Effect for Boss (slow computers NOT Recommended)
* Added Music for Boss 1 (still need original music. if you have some, post here)

* Need help for when Rocket hits solid you lose one health


Secret TIME! On Level2, when you enter the maze, if you get too far in the maze there is a teleporter on one of the passages. If you're lost, KEEP Going!
also, to quickly goto the boss, from level1, press Up, Down and Shift at the same time. (this wont be in the final game)

theres an error on this version. rename "rocket-360degsprite-tileset.bmp" as "rocket-360sprite-tiliset.new"
                      then rename "rocket-360degsprite-tileset.backup.bmp" as "rocket-360degsprite-tileset.bmp"

that should fix it.

if the smoke effect doesn't work, let me know what system you have so i can have a system requirements done (mine barely works too, so you wont be alone)
