the tutorials on the sourceforge page (falling platforms, error def., etc.) are cut off by the ads... you can't read some of them...

This is a recent development.  Those didn't used to be there.  Unfortunately, Sourceforge isn't very good at responding to problems quickly, at least not with their free customers, (i.e. most people).

The reason the tutorials there aren't already in a file on the download page is because that area is for content that might change or expand and I don't want to have to keep it in sync every time it does (re-create the zip and post a new one).  However, if you want to be able to read the whole tutorial, you should be able to view the source of the page and copy the section between <!-- DOCMANAGER DOCUMENT START --> and <!-- DOCMANAGER DOCUMENT END --> into another file (or just read it).

I reported the problem to SourceForge and the problem has been fixed.  That's not too bad a response time.  Maybe someone else reported the problem too.

Presumably the problem was widespread, i.e. all of the documents had the same problem.  As opposed to a problem I submitted a couple of weeks ago that I haven't heard back on yet.
