Userbar
« on: 2006-09-10, 04:50:53 PM »
Well...I recently downloaded GIMP and have been fiddling around with it for a while now. I dont know if anyone's ever heard of userbars but on some forums they're quite popular in signatures...
Anyways...There was a tutorial on how to make them with GIMP on the official Userbar site (http://www.userbars.com).
So, even though it isn't out yet, I made this...SGDK2 Userbar

It looks to me like they are just little graphics you might put in your signature when posting on a forum to identify yourself as a user of some particular software or a fan of something in particular.

Yah, what he said.

Lots of times people pick out a bunch of userbars and use the userbar animator. It just outs them all in an animated gif with some transition effect between each userbar.

There's userbars for everything.
ie. Yahoo User, Google Searcher, Halo 2 Player, Nickelback Fan...theres tons.
