I'm creating my own Super Mario game and everytime I try to build a map I get this same error.  After I put down half a level worth of tiles this happens and I can't go further.  Other similar posts don't help me, can someone else help me?

If you can explain exactly how to reproduce the problem I might be able to help.  If you need to provide a project, zip up your files and post them somewhere were I can get them.  If you don't have any place to post files, I can provide one.

The GDP file is not enough.  You need all your project files including BMP files, MAP files and the GDP file.
