Science Fair Project Using SGDK 2
« on: 2007-04-05, 11:42:25 PM »
The first science fair project using SGDK2. :D I am going to see if video games can affect couples. But I was wondering if I was able to use your graphics, from SHFL, BlueM. Plus the SGDK2 is real cool! Would this program be considered GameDev2? ???

Actually those graphics are OrionPax's, not mine.  But they come with the kit under the same license, so you're free to use them if you don't try taking credit for them yourself or sell them or something like that.

I'm dropping the name GameDev.  I only refer to Scrolling Game Development Kit 2 by the full name or as SGDK2.

Yeah, right-click on the Source Code folder and import a source code object containing sounds or music (from the sound library) for examples. This isn't documented yet.  I would caution you about using alpha software for a serious project, but your name is TEAMalpha, so maybe I don't need to ;).  Seriously, though, this software is not documented yet, and not thoroughly tested, and might pose some unexpected surprises that you won't be able to get past on an emergency timeline.

I used the sample game as a "BASE" project since a lot was confusing. Even though my name is "TEAMALPHA", I should take your advice. And I'll just wait for the full version to come. I miss making games with my SGDK.

PS Congrats on the 999 posts!
