Scrolling Game Development Kit Forum

This may be a silly question, but judging by the tutorial I've done what it takes to play a quick round of my game.  But everytime I click "play" a box pops up and says "No Player Sprite Has Been Specified For The Start Up Map".  I think I know what it is but it won't work right.  I named my sprite and template like it says, and checked initial assistance.  Then when I go to "maps" and player interaction my player sprite never appears on the scroll.  Could it be that my sprite is in a separate tileset?

Could someone explain how you do this step by step?  My computer will say it's zipped when I guess it really isn't.  I need to save my tilesets and maps in the same file.  This is driving me insane!!!  What do I do?

That would be great if I could send it to you, how do I do that?  I'm a newby.
