foreign speakers here? ...germans maybe?
« on: 2007-11-04, 10:50:51 AM »
hey,

does anyone know if there is a little german site about sgdk2? i want/need to make a game for school and came to sgdk 1, which i found really good. lately i found out about sgdk2, which is far more complicated to me... i wish there were tuts/help-docs in german, or at least some german users to discuss some questions....

Well, BlueMonk speaks fluent German, so you're in luck, I think.  Just wait for him to show up if you have any specific questions.  I don't think that SGDK2 has enough of a following to have others translate the guides into other languages yet.  Just wait once the first release comes out though.  Hopefully, anyway.  Heck, there aren't really many guides or tutorials in English yet.

isn't the actual version a release? i thought so...
hm, i would find it good for other not english native speakers, to make a sticky thread here to collect links to not-english communites.
anyway, if a big problem occurs, i will post it here ;-)

Jemand der Deutsch spricht findet SGDK2 interessant?  Toll! :).  Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut wie mein Bruder sagt, aber ich kann Deutsch verstehen und schreiben wenn is einfach ist.  Vielleicht konnen Sie hilfen mit Teilen von SGDK2 zu ubersetzen.

Someone who speaks German finds SGDK2 interesting?  Cool! :).  My German is not as good as my brother says, but I can understand and write German if it's simple.  Maybe you can help translate parts of SGDK2.

I studied German because I lived in Vienna, Austria for 7 years (from ages 2 to 9).  My dad was a teacher in the American International School.  I slowly learned German as I grew up in Vienna.  In order to not forget my German, I proceeded to study it further in school after returning to the U.S. (I can still never remember the genders of German nouns, though! ... nor how to spell or use the German word for "remember")

Please do!  I know it's far from perfect, and maybe if I see the correct version I will remember.

("weil" is correct here, but i guess you miss-translated it from "while". that would be: Ich habe Deutsch gelernt w
