What is the MBTI test?
The MBTI, Or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a psychometric test developed to define people, Basically.
The test and types were developed by Katherine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers from the 1923 work of Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist born in 1875.
There are 16 personality types and the theory is that everyone falls into one of them. It can tell you how you are likely to act, How you approach certain situations and life in general and it can also tell you what type of job position is most suited for you.
Where is it used?
The world of business is where MBTI is mostly used. It will often be issued by the employer before you take a job to see if you have got the right personality for what they want you to do. A competent employer won't put a shy follower in a leadership position for example.
I done this test, very skeptical about the result it would give me. (I thought it was like a fortune teller) But basically, in the end, it was if someone had spied on me my whole life, and wrote down every personality trait I possess.... Very accurate, quite interesting to see your result.
I'll give you my result to give you an idea.
