I would like to leave this here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSDPIjlMt64Hopefully this thread will become linked to into the future whenever a user asks the question if 3D is possible in SGDK2.
Although I know SGDK2 is primarily a 2D game development engine and was designed as such, I think that the gameplay style of a 2d platformer (Even an RPG or Shmup) could still be incorporated in a 3D environment. This could mean a 3D backgrounds, or 2D sprites in a 3D world (Such as Paper Mario, if you've seen)
And for the HTML5 Counterpart:
I've been looking into something called WebGL. I wonder if that may be used with the SGDK2 HTML5 Counterpart?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebGLOne question to anyone who knows, will there ever be any graphical and display based changes to any further releases of SGDK2?
To be honest, I don't see how it could possibly change any more than it is now. (For the Desktop Version)
