s***, i let my freind help edit the map to make it harder and he saved, destroying my sprites, templets, and animations in the process. thanks for your help you guys, but i will have to rebuild my game.

How on Earth would that happen? I don't see how that's possible if he was just editing the map.

i didn't think so either, but somhow he managed it. anyway most of the bitmapfiles were still there and the map sucked as is so it will be pretty easy to rebuild it, infact i am almost done neow

Maybe he just created a new map and deleted the old one, unaware of all the data attached to the map. I suppose this was the "hard way" of learning that you need to keep a backup of your project (and copy the whole folder, not just the GDP file!), especially when you let someone else edit it. Hopefully you don't hit that kind of problem again.

yes i think that is it as well, thank you for all of your help and i have created the first crappy simplistic level of my game, it even has an intro text. yay!
