I agree completely.

What do you like about this over Game Maker?  I believe it's easier to use.

Alas, this is still the best freeware Development Kit for games, in my opinion.

This is nice, relavent discussion -- you don't have to post in the Off Topic forum.  I'll leave it here for now, but I was thinking off topic would be for things much more off-topic like "Did you see the video spoof of COPS where the guys were playing D&D and the one guy shot the other guy with an arrow to simulate a trapped chest and the cops came and tried to sort it out?" hah... that was a good one. :)  Other interesting off-topics include "Isn't it cool that e raised to the power of imaginary pi is -1!?" and "Anybody know how to write a program to determine if a 100-digit number is prime?" (I do) and "Hey, anybody played Aztec on an old Apple ][ Emulator lately?  That was a cool game"  (but if you want to try to make Aztec using SGDK then it would be on-topic) and "I'm pondering the implications of Hawking radiation for possibilities of cold fusion" and "It's a miracle -- I've finally invented Spudzu -- the solution to all the world's ills! It's a fast-growing root that looks like a potato and thrives in a desert climate.  It spreads wildly in this desert climate like Kudzu does in the southern US, but dissipates easily when encountering areas populated by other flora (so it doesn't overwhelm existing ecosystems).  It contains high-energy compounds generated from photosynthesis in the exposed portion of the plant.  These compounds can be easily converted into high-potency clean fuels better than gasoline.  My invention will solve global warming, pollution, need for cheap renewable energy, third world poorness and waste!  And the secret is so simple, all I had to do was ... well I have a remarkably simple proof, but I can't fit it here in the margin." and "My cats breath smells like cat food."

But you get the idea -- as you can see I'm just having fun with it now. :)

Yes, I think we get the point.  The wall of text was hardly needed.:P

Although, you are right, this is an 'un-off topic' discussion.  Oh well...I'm just trying to pass some time.  I thought I would just give my opinion.

Geez, there BlueMonk, have a bit of time on your hands?  In response, however.

Yeah, it was pretty funny (Oh, and the TV show is Reno 911).
I still don't understand how that works, but it's cool.
If I were paying attention in my CS Theory class I would, yes (That's come up actually).
Not as such, but I have played it on the original, once.
I'm not quite sure what that is, but Meg Ryan proved it impossible, didn't she?
This sounds familiar, who said that last bit and then later some guys (scientists) found the proof and it wasn't simple at all?
Was that something you just discovered or just made up?

Actually I don't remember off the top of my head.  I would have to review the source code of my cryptographic text processor to figure it out.

Meg Ryan?  I think I missed something.

Fermat's last theorem from about 375 years ago years ago.  They finally came up with a proof about 5 years go, but it certainly wasn't the simple one Fermat was thinking of.

The cat's breath quote is from Ralph on the Simpsons.  Apparently there's more to the story

Oh yeah, I guess I just don't think of the actor/actress names in that movie.  It's been quite a while since I last saw it.
