I feel left out, only one not working on one. Might start making one in the holidays... I've been really busy with my exams.

I wonder if someone should make some SGDK2 tutorials like this XNA tutorial:

I think it would be a good thing.  It's more accessible and easier to understand when you have a video and you see the program in motion.  Maybe making a video of the tutorial in the sgdk2 help file would be a good starting point? :)

Flash (SWF) is probably a better format for video tutorials, as described in another SGDK2 thread, but YouTube has more visibility.  I wonder if there's any place with as much visibility as YouTube, where it would be appropriate to host such tutorials in another format.

Don't worry too much. Education is more important. :)

Well, if I'm getting what you all mean, it sounds like we need to make a game that would be a bit of a "Flagship" of sorts. SGDK1 had games like "Rolly the purple ball who goes around putting other balls in places so he can get energized to reach the next level. (but you can just call it Rolly for short.) Although it was short and relatively simple, it was a very nicely made and fun game. That was one of the things that made me use this tool in particular.
So, how about we all try and think of what kind of game should be made. Since RPG Maker has RPG's covered and GameMaker does most other things, I'm going to suggest a big multiplayer game should be built. I don't mean another MMO or a Web Browser game, I mean something using split screen and maybe head-to-head internet play, something like what you'd see on consoles that everyone loves. It would set SGDK2 apart from some of the other game creators, at least.
Well? Sound any good?
I've made more new graphics for the Remository. Check 'em out, you may like them.

I believe the name is (or at least I remember it as) "Rolly The Purple Ball Who Goes Around Picking Up Other Balls And Puts Them In Places To Get Energized So He Can Get To The Next Level"
